Mike's Lemonade has replaced the Berry style with a new flavor, Black Cherry Lemonade.

Dab 6pk 16oz Cans

New to Austin's is Dab 16oz 6-pack cans. We have offered Dab beer in a variety of packages, 6-pack bottles, 12-pack bottles even the occasional 5.0lt keg can. Canned beer is making a comeback in all three major catergories, domestic, craft and import.

New Castle Summer 12 Pack Bottles

Introducing New Castle Summer. New Castle Summer has been available throughout the city in limited quanities since early June on draft only.  Starting Thursday July 15th, both Austin Worcester adn Austin Shrewsbury will be offering New Castle Summer in 12pk bottles for a limited time.

Rogue Double Mocha

Rogue Double Mocha is a new package for 2010. It is an Imperial version of their award winning Mocha Porter. Rogue Brewing Company had released this product for an Oregon Brewfest under XS Imperial Porter some years back. Rogue Double Mocha comes in a 25.4oz, painted blue-ish bottle. Can't miss it on the shelf, however, this is a limited release. Stop in and get it at either store before its gone. 

Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary

Sierra Nevada is celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year.  Sierra will be offering a collaberation with specific brewer's throuout 2010. They will be released quarterly, in very small batches of 25.4oz bottles.

The first batch that Austin has received is "Fritz and Ken's Ale". This is a Pionerrs Stout. A rich and roasted ale. I recommend, if you are lucky enough to grab one, to store it and let it age. The beer will naturally become maltier the longer you keep it corked.  

New England Brewing's Sea Hag IPA

New to Austin Liquors, New England Brewing Company's Sea Hag IPA. NEBC has been around for a few years now with their 6pk cans. NEBC is out of Woodbridge, Connecticut. Another local brewer just over the state lines. Their Sea Hag IPA is an easy going IPA, not over the top but more of a welcoming experince to join the ranks of other IPA's.

*** NEW *** Larry and California IPA 22oz Bombers

For the first time, Larry, is offered in a bottle format. Larry and California IPA are available in 22oz bottles. Larry is an Imperial IPA with 7.5%abv (alcohol by volume) and their California IPA is a west coast IPA weighing in at 5.8%abv. Come in and pick some up this weekend.

Lefthand 400lb Monkey

400 Pound Monkey??? Oh yeah! New from Left Hand Brewing Company is this English style India Pale Ale. This is an elusive creature. Come by and grab a six pack of  the 400lb Monkey before it migrates out of here.

Goose Island Pere Jacques

Yet another addition to the Austin family of beers is Pere Jacques from the Goose Island high end line up. Pere Jacques is compared to a belgium dubble. At 8% abv, slightly higher than Matilda, this is a darker maltier beer than Matilda is. Pere Jacques is available in both a 22oz bomber and 12oz 4 - pack bottles.

Goose Island Sofie

Lastly, Sofie is the third belgian style beer released from Goose Island's high end line up. Sofie is their rendition of a belgian white. This is a slightly spicy white more like an Allagash White than a Blue Moon. Sofie is only available in a 22oz bomber. You can find Goose Island Sophie at both Austin Worcester and Shrewsbury stores.  

Clown Shoes Black IPA

Clown Shoes Black IPA comes from Mercury Brewing Company in Ipswich MA. Clown Shoes Black IPA is one of the only Black IPA's in production. It pours out as dark as can be, with the usual suspected hoppy flavor, but smooths out from the malty finish.  $5.79++* per 22oz bomber.

Goose Island Honkers Ale

From Chicago, Goose Island has been a major player in the midwest for years and they have finally made their way to the east coast.  Honker's Ale is Goose Island's flagship. Be on the lookout at Brew City and other local bars and pubs for their tap handles. They are typically in the shape of a goose.
