Gordon & MacPhail, proprietors of Benromach distillery has launched, Benromach Organic Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Hand made by just two men at Speyside’s smallest working distillery, Benromach Organic is the first bottled Single Malt Whisky released to be fully certified by the Soil Association.
Benromach Organic is bottled non chill filtered, at natural colour and at 43% ABV. Golden brown in colour, Benromach Organic is a fresh vibrant whisky with a strong oak influence. The nose reveals sweet, charred oak aromas with fresh fruit notes (bananas and pineapples). An earthy, toasted aroma also present. The palate exposes sweet, vanilla and toffee flavours. Hints of green apples and orange peel with a rich resinous note
